Originally supplied by SA.MO.Car S.P.A, the official Ferrari main agents in Rome, Italy, this car had two owners while in the country and was regularly serviced by Ferrari-authorised centres. In 2015, it was purchased by its current owner, imported into the UK, and has remained in the same collection ever since.
The car has been incredibly well looked after, with regular servicing carried out by Dick Lovett (official Ferrari main agents) and AV Engineering (independent specialists). It has been used sparingly and presents in beautifully original condition, clearly reflecting the exceptional care it has received over the past 33 years.
Most recently, the car underwent a full engine-out service at AV Engineering, which included timing belts, valve clearance checks, cam timing, seals, and new spark plugs. While the engine was out, a full engine bay and chassis detail was also completed—further highlighting the car’s outstanding original condition. The total cost of this service was just under £5,000, and over £30,000 has been invested in maintenance during the current ownership. No expense has ever been spared, and it truly shows.
The Ferrari 512 TR is a masterpiece—iconic in every way. A significant evolution of the original Testarossa, it delivers a far more engaging driving experience while also excelling as a superb grand tourer. The 512 TR and its successor, the F512M, were the last Ferraris to feature the legendary 4.9-litre Tipo F113 flat-12 engine—an engine that is utterly intoxicating in both sound and performance.
